Colon 'cleanse' are a health gimmick, only thing you're going to cleanse is the destroying the colon lining which is necessary for digestion. How does taking vitamins and water achieve the same effect? A gallon of water should be your minimum intake, you really need to do some more research before coming up with these plans.

no no man, I didn't mean that drinking water and taking a multi vitamin litterally does the job, it just helps clean you out s little

I wanted to do the same thing. They're not all just gimmicks, I saw this one on tv that looked legit, likewise, some are jokes. But this guy was talking about how has formula can help you lose 5-20 pounds just from the waste built up in your colon. He said that it has helped many of his patents pass parasites and it really sounds like it works. I'd like to try that one, I'll see if I can find it again.

No, no, 1,000 times NO. Please don't buy into this lie. It may "look" and "sound" efficacious, and I'm sure it is being touted by a "doctor," along with a plethora of "true believers," but no, if it is making any sort of "colon cleansing" claims, it is not legit. A brief study of of the anatomy of the human digestive system should make it readily apparent why anyone who has "5-20 pounds" of waste "built up" in their colon would be in an IMMEDIATELY DIRE medical situation. Please save your money, and avoid a nasty descent into the world of quackery/pseudoscience.....Adequate water intake alone should be enough to easily maintain regular, healthy movement.....but if you are dead-set on "cleansing" your colon, take a little psyllium husk with plenty of water......at least it won't be too costly, and won't hurt you.

If you were just joking, sorry.....I don't post on here frequently enough to always pick up on written sarcasms....

I basically heard not that long ago, that all a colonic cleanse does is remove waste matter that was already going to be passed out your system. So 'X' amount of weight in waste would have been passed regardless.

It wasn't saying that you'd lose all that weight at once but over the coarse of time. I really don't remember the exact commercial but I do believe that some can have an affect.

+1000

Cleanses are bull**** and can be harmful to you. There is no impacted waste in your body.

dog1dog2 is correct; if you had that much waste buildup you would be in the hospital for a bowel obstruction.

People didn't evolve using colon cleansers, so you don't need one. Just eat fiber and drink water.

As mentioned above Fibre is the best supplements/nutrient that can be used to cleanse ur digestive system. All of these quick **** supplements just make u remove waste product at a faster rate. They also rape your body of vital nutrients. Regular bowel movement is enough you can also use a probiotic that will help with good bacteria and flora.
