Correct.

5g Morning and Post Workout.

or,

5g pre and 5g post workout.

As much water as you can take in daily will help greatly.

Not only for best use but for safety issues. Like Zack said you should already be drinking a ton of water.

Dont want to ruin a good night sleep having to get up and a couple times. Just drink water through out the day, especially around workout time.

Jamie,,
listen, its just water so dont go making it out to be more than what it is, i know it sounds confusing with all the talk of getting in a gallon a day, but really bro, just drink water, a glass full here a glass full there, and by the end of the day your hydrated, instead of reaching for a soda or what ever , grab a glass of water, the main point is to stay hydrated, weather or not your using creatine you should be getting in at least 1 gallon of water a day anyway,
look at it this way, one gallon = 128 ounces , so fill up one of those shaker bottles that show ounces to help you figure out how much your drinking, once you see how easy it is to consume 1 gallon its not that difficult to maintain, if you need mix in some crystal light to make it more appealing,

grab a measuring cup and fill it with water, that little cup = 8 oz.. which really is not that much when you look at it, this should help you come to grips with just how easy it is to get in 1 gallon of water a day,,

8 ounces = 1 cup
16 ounces = 2 cups
32 ounces = 4 cups
128 ounces = 16 cups = 1 gallon

ZACK is totally correct. You should be drinking 2-3 litres a day man. But remember the more water the more you urinate so its important to keep the vitamins and minerals up to lots of greens and a good multi vit.

Well plenty of water is a given. I was lost in reading the question. If you drink 10% of your bodyweight in water (still not all at once now) you're looking at about a gallon or 4L for someone 160-180 lbs. if you weigh more then drink more.

You're on the right track tho. Oh and experts say vitamin water counts too. I'm trying to make the gallon go down as easy as possible for u. . you're going to really see the positive effects if u are monitoring your water intake and using the c at the right time.

A gallon of water weighs, what, 10lbs? So a person following that principle who weighs 170lbs needs 17lbs of water a day. Not 10. Who's on the right track? Zack is just plain right. Obviously vitamin water counts, all liquid counts, even though some(caffeine) can help dehydrate you.

huh? 17 GALLONS? that would be deadly. I said cups so that would be around 136 ounces.

some fruit drinks do have extra additives that don't make them as effective as water or vitamin water. basic filtered water is better than say a V8 splash or a snapple ice tea.

No, I said 17lbs of water meaning just over a gallon and a half. If you're saynig to drink 1`0% of your bw that'd be 17lbs or just over a gallon and a half. Or if you mean to drink 17 8 ounce cups meaning 136oz then that's about a gallon.

So yeah jsut make it easy and say at least a gallon and up to 2.
