Is it better to cheat on a training day or on a workout day?

Good question, I hope Hdogg has an answer, but my guess is on an "off" day.

a.) your body has a need for more nutrition and calories due to the recovery process
b.) you will stay in an anabolic state after the work out as long as you continue to keep a positive nitrogen balance. Meaning include protein in your cheat meals.

I could be off, but this is just my guess. I personally don't even cheat anymore unless I've trained and roided for like 8 weeks, then I'll go clean from the drugs and cheat for like 2 days, usually saturday and sunday. I don't even cheat that much. Like 2 beers and some cake or something in the nature. Hdogg will have a better answer because right now all I'm doing is...

LOL, thanks stay big. Yeah, thats what banshee and I thought......but, when I eat bad on an off day, I just feel nasty, and if I go and do cardio later that day, I always feel better (mostly mental Im sure) If it was on training day, it would be second post workout meal (carb rich one). Lets wait for Hdogg or Flex

Training, most likely the chest will have some benefit as far as increased protein synthesis and glycogen synthesis. On an off day chances are more will be stored as fat
