man mike 75 lbs on your lap for dips lol im guessing its bench dips or else that seems impossible when i picture it on the handles lol im gonna see if i can find some of that glyco-maize....i like your idea of having dextrose before and after and adding some waxy also....gonna giver a try homes!! keep at er big man! your what i want to be when im your age(cheesy) haha

haha,, your already cheesy buddie,, and like DUH bench dips,, good luck figuring out how to do it the other way,,

yea so far the dextrose ****tail works pretty good, feel full today after yesterdays chest workout, i`ll stick with that agenda unless i dont start dropping weight in the next week or so, other wise the combo of glyco and dextrose should yield some good results,,

ok so just finished up with work , went to work early morning at 2:45a.m, got done at 11:30a.m, and since i`m away from home today is my day off from lifting, will be going to sleep until tonight when i get called out to head home so tomorrow will be a Back workout is what i`m thinking..

feel very full muscle wise, no bloat feelings or any adverse effects after the first day using the supplement, cant say if its from the slin-sane or from starting up with the creatine again... but i do like the feeling so far,
have not taken todays dosage, will do that tonight after i wake up and plan on taking it 15 min. before i down a protein shake which will be a combo of the following stuff

1 1/2 scoops whey= 36g protein
2 scoops glyco-maize= 70g carbs
dextrose= 48 grams
10g creatine
5g BCAA`s
AAKG - 1 teaspoon

other than that the diet for yesterday going into today was right on target,

totals were as such
protein= 255
carbs= 288
fats= 35

i can break down the meals if you guys want to see what i had other wise this will be my macro`s until weight drops, then i will adjust the macros...

Very detailed man! It sucks that you are starting back up on creatine while taking this product as well. Otherwise it would be alot easier to narrow down what is actually working. Nonetheless, this is a very detailed log and i look forward to your results.

Yep T.O thats what i was thinking also which was why i decided to start the loading phase along with the slin, took a couple of months off of the creatine just to clean out the system, but the slin is def. giving me a longer lasting full feeling for much longer than what creatine did alone

So here`s a update from this morning`s post, i have a little bit of a side effect i think might be of some what of a issue, now it could be my schedule of work and the odd times i have to adjust my sleep pattern, but it was a total biatch to get to sleep today, had my cottage cheese like i always do before bed, and i had kinda a upset stomach and felt just odd, almost shaky in a way, not stimulant shaky but like i needed something more to eat feeling, took a long time to finally fall asleep, something i will have to keep an eye on and see how it comes out, could be the low carbs, even though i took in 288 grams, which the bulk of came in my pre- during and post workout yesterday,

also I`m thinking since the bulk of my carb intake came so early in the day and i had taken a 8 hour sleep break before work, the rest of my carbs were in 3 meals of brown rice at 22 grams per meal along with 35 grams of protein while i was working, could have something to do with the feeling,

since i have done this same diet before i can say that the shaky feeling is not from the lower carb intake, but i do have a history of sleep issues, but the normal benadryl /melatonin took for ever to finally kick in, and the stomach issue which is gone now is something new,

felt really good during work, in fact i was hungry and could not wait until the 2 1/2 hours were up to eat again, lol... that is something new, generally my meals will tide me over until the next feeding, but i figured i would throw this up while i was thinking about it, i`ll report in when get home some time in the
morning,

going to take my slin dosage now and drink my shake and head out to my train, the rest of my meals tonight will be
1) protein shake
1 1/2 scoops whey= 36g protein
2 scoops glyco-maize= 70g carbs
dextrose= 48 grams
10g creatine
5g BCAA`s
AAKG - 1 teaspoon

2)chicken breast- 45g protein
brown rice - 45 g carbs

3) chicken breast- 45 g protein
brown rice - 45 carbs


4)chicken breast- 45 g protein
brown rice - 45 carbs


5)tuna- 50grams protein
whole wheat crackers-30 g carbs

6)cottage cheese-30 grams protein
9 grams carbs

total macros
protein= 253 g`s
carbs=287g`
fats= 40

thats the plan so far, update later,

ok so i`m finally done with work, 11 hours of pure train driving HELL !!!
I followed my meal plan from the above post, and i felt really good until i started to feel this kinda shaky thing again, so when i ate the next meal it was all good again, so i`m guessing that its impairative to keep your carbs intake close to 2 hours apart from what i have noticed, stretching it to 3 hours causes me to feel odd, i guess is the best way to put it,

i feel leaner, i know its only been 2 days on the dosage, since last nights was #2, and then tonight when i wake up i will do #3 before i work out,, excited to test it out again,, want to see if the pump feeling lasts as long as it did after the chest workout ,, other than the Hypo feeling it seems to be doing something hopefully within the next week or so some bf will drop and i will start leaning out but look HUGH.. haha...

Ive been ok so far no shakes or anything, definitly noticed ive been hungry which for me is crazy usually im force feeding 90% of my meals, Im probably not getting the shakes because i have sufficient carbs whereas your keeping quite low, be interesting to see if George reports anything similar

yea well its not exactally like i`m shaking or anything, just feels like i have not eaten in 2 days,, kinda like that feeling,, today was better than the first day keep my meals very close together, which helped

hello followers of my slin review thingy,,

so here`s today, only slept for 5 hours, so i was really still tired as a mofo when the wife work me up at 5:30 tonight, was debating on the workout but decided to go with it anyway, took the 1 pill dosage 15 min, prior to my protein shake which i changed up a bit today just because i can,, no j.k.,, but i did change out the dextrose in the preworkout shake today, here is the mix of my pre workout

1 scoop whey-- 24 g protein
2 scoops glyco-maize--- 70 g carbs
10g creatine
AAKG powder 1 teaspoon

waited like 1 hour before working out and had the Dextrose mix during my workout, here is the work out mix..

Dextrose= 48g carbs
5g BCAA`s
1 teaspoon AAKG

so thats the only change in the mix was i did not add any dextrose to my pre-workout drink, the other reason was i changed out the extra dextrose was because my workout was started at 7 P.M and i did not want the extra carbs that late in the night,, made sense at the time,,so thats my reason on that,,

here is the work out first then i`ll post my crappy pics and bf numbers,,

decided to do my Back workout tonight and since i was still a bit tired i went with a super set combo pack,, lol,, no really i did super set everything, it went really good, and the pump was great in my lats and upper back,, dont have quite the fullness as i did my first dosage a few days ago, but that could have a bit to do with my sleep schedule and all that also?? still for as tired as i was my endurance was good for the entire workout and i actually felt as if my heart was going to push out of my chest,, was really beating like a sum biatch.. but its good now, could be the supersets and the 2 min. break between sets??

ok heres the workout,,

wide grip pulldowns..................superset with one arm dumbbell rows
1x100x15................................1x75x10rep s
1x110x12................................1x75x10r
1x130x10................................1x75x10r
1x130x10................................1x75x10r
1x130x10................................1x75x10r

seated v-bar rows.....................superset with close grip pulldowns
1x200x8..................................1x80x8rep s
1x200x8..................................1x80x8r
1x200x8..................................1x80x8r
1x200x8..................................1x80x8r

and that was that,, took some pics but they are a bit crappy looking and i did not shave so the shirt is on, plus my abs are pretty much gone, here is the numbers of my bf %,, i dont think i was to far off, but the % is probably a bit higher than it comes out, so i`ll just post the numbers as a reference to see where i am at the end of this trial..

abs=.........14
illiac crest..10
tricep........12
biceps.........3
shoulder.....14
calf.............8
quad..........12

total number= 73
using the Yuhasz Equation for Males formula
% Body Fat = (0.1051 x 73 bf number total) + 2.585,= 10.25 bf%,, which is not even close to where i am, more like 13-15% but like i said, its only for reference,,

here are the pics,, i`ll get some better ones up but just wanted to throw these up so i can look back and either smile or frown,,

as you can see my definition is off, but i`m also at 198 lbs, so i have added a bit of bf,, anyways,,

thanks buddie,, i was looking at the pics and thought my forearms have actually improved since last year, probably account of adding single arm hammer dumbbell curls into my arm workout, oh and the tunes i`m jamming to were the new nickleback and then some disturbed.... alittle down with the sickness... hell yea... i

ok a update from last night,, so after i did my pics and bf measurements i did not have my usual post workout shake for some reason?? cant really say why but since i drank the dextrose during my workout i figured i did not need more carbs directly after my workout....... HUGE mistake!!!! let me tell you, i was in the shower hosing off from the workout, since i like to be a clean kind of guy, and then after i was shaving, well all of a sudden my legs start shaking and then my arms and i`m like WTF is going on, then it dawned on me like
DUH!!! should have eaten those carbs and protein after your workout,

all i can figure is this slin affects glucose big time, which probably triggers some kind of diabetic insulin kind of response, all i can say is i went into the kitchen and ate like i never saw food before,,

I started off with some home made beef nacho`s/ then went into another dish of brown rice, thinking that would do the trick,,, yea right,, the shake`s went away but my stomach was like ....ummm is that all i`m getting.... so i was craving sugar like nothing i have ever felt before, i had a bowl of ice cream, and about 10 liquorish twizzlers, and I WAS STILL CRAVING MORE !!!

but i figured i took in about 200 carbs and about 75 were simple, the nachos were with the corn chips so that was good some what,, and of course the brown rice,, holy hanna dudes unreal .......

so my thoughts are pretty sound on the importance of a carb intake using this supplement,,

today i will be taking the day off from lifting, still sore and i have to work sometime around midnight, so i`ll be going to bed around 2 this afternoon to get rested,

I took my dosage of 1 pill 15 min. before i ate today and decided that i will eat my carbs instead of drinking them , for my home breakfast, on the road i`ll have to settle for the glyco-maize/protein shake for breakfast

here is what i had for breakfast
protein shake 2 scoops whey
creatine 10g
AAKG- 1 teaspoon

made some multi-grain pancakes that have milled flax seed and soy..
4 pancakes = 114 grams of complex carbs
protein= 40 grams
fat=6
plus i used sugar free pancake syrup which was about 40 grams of simple sugars

so the meal was pretty large carb wise and loaded with protein, probably could have only had the pancakes since they have 40 grams total of protein, and 84 grams of protein is overkill so the shake was pointless...

but i feel real good, no shakes this morning so the food carb was the ticket i believe....

other than that, no other side effects, just have to watch the carb intake to avoid the low blood sugar which is probably the factor?? guessing here,,

I would agree. Yes I find the best feeling is carbing up with food. Pre and post workout I have to have a sccop of waxy or I will feel a little fatigued and then eat my post workout meal which is breakfeast for me. But the carb timing is essential as you mentioned. This is not the type of supplement to take whenever ( For new readers) :)
