Hi Everyone

I hear many members saying that making your own shake is what is best...

What sorts of things would you put in shakes? (Other than protein)

I would like to make a shake for mass and another for energy or pre wrkout

nuts, berries etc??

For mass gaining, throw in oats and peanut/almond butter along with some berries. Energy-wise, I'd just go with an NO product if you looking for increased intensity before lifting.

my post workout consists of protein, bcaas, creatine and dextrose.....post workout is scoop of muscle prime, scoop of jacked, and bcaas.....theres so many possabilities for shakes just kinda find something that works and taste good

you take jack3d post workout?

yes i make many many dumbass mistakes lol i take the jacked before workout...well i drink it starting before and then prob 5 mins into my workout i finish and then the other products after workout....sorry guys lol

I would say yes to it being much because superpump250 has a focus agent and I know for a fact that jacked has one too that works great. I wouldn't take both together.

as long as your only taking one scoop of each it dosent make any difference cause if you take 2 scoops of superpump there is going to more more amounts of stimulants and stuff in that than if you take one scoop of superpump and one scoop of jacked

only reason i do it is cause i wanted to try it cause wasnt getting much from just jacked or just muscle prime so put one of each and it works everytime for me instead of just the first time i use it......makes me feel better and more focused than anything i have tried and i had them both so i tryed it lol just an experiment that worked really good for me:)

Im glad everyone got THOROUGHLY sidetracked... :lol:


My shakes usually will consist of whey, milk, peanut butter, oats, a few eggs, and some kind of fruit, be it strawberries or other berries or a banana.

Soy milk works well, especially because it has a rich flavor by itself (plain, unsweetened, or vanilla flavored) and depending on the whey you use, it can be pretty darn tasty.

yeah man that sounds good.. just try to aim for about 1k calories per shake and take that 3 times a day... that 3k calories right there. you eat 6-8 times a day so 3-4 othr meals consisting of about 600 calories and your look at 4800-5400 calories.. you will grow

IMO hardly anyone will need that many calories.....unless your on gear IMO there no point in eating over 4000 and that would be for me at 210lbs your body dosent absorb it and it just stores as fat so why get that fat when you can find the right amount of calories for a bulk instead of getting fat during your bulk....just my opinion boys

grow fat... jesus that is alot of calories.


and Mumbo, where did you hear that soy decreases the absorption of carbs? Any links, because of all the things i have heard about soy protein (which gets a bad wrap) i have never heard that.

well all i know is i heard it on this website superhumanradio.com dunno which brodcast it was but i heard it there cant remember all the science behind it but it made me want to stay away from it....

its going to take more than one source to scare me away from something. Especially if i cant look at the published research (if its even published).

soy also has an estrogen mimicing substance in it and has been shown to decreases testosterone by 70 something% in men and also lessens abosrbtion on zinc which can lead to infertility let me look for proof of this though lol

well it might be over kill but i would much rather eat more than not enough. i always have trouble because of my very fast metabolism.. thats about the amount i eat and i barely budge. and as for your soy statement i have no clue lol only thing i know is that i never used it b4
