True, and I apologize if that mislead you. I should re-phrase: what i meant was, don't read stuff on the internet and immediately think 'my doctors wrong'. If you have a good doctor he should have his bases covered and be open minded.
I feel like the best way is to ask in suggestion form, and show that you really understand whats going on in your body. Example:
Wrong: "Doctor, my nipples are puffy. i must have gyno. can i have a hormone test?"
Right: "Doctor, I was curious about getting my hormone levels checked. i was obese as a kid, and i know that high bodyfat leads to an increase in estrogen levels in men. I feel like i may have developed some pubertal gynocomastia and i would like you to examine to see if i may still have it or not."
Also ASK QUESTIONS about how everything works. if you have a good doctor he or she will explain it to you. If they don't, get a different doctor. please trust me on this. T.O. you are definitely right about doctors not always being right, my point was that you should trust them as a rule of thumb. but point taken, i hope this clears everything up.
