I know its getting a little overboard with the creatine questions on the supplement forum, so I apologize ahead of time.

I have already purchased my Creatine Monohydrate, and I'm wondering when you guys think I should start taking it, I have a couple options...

1) I can start at the beginning of next week, while I'll still be on my cut
OR
2) I can wait until the second week in april, when I'm going to change my diet and start a super clean bulk

I'm just looking for opinions here, obviously its a preference thing here, but I'd like you here your .02.

Btw the only REAL reason I'm going to start a clean bulk is because I have been cutting for a lonnng time now, close to 8 or 9 months, and I think any longer is a little excessive, so I want to try to put on a little bit of muscle, even though I still have some fat I want to lose...the bulk might not last too long though, maybe just for long enough to give my body a change

(ps I'm thinking I can start the creatine when I start bulking...might be a little more effective with the presence of carbohydrates)

thanks for the opinions guys...I should have mentioned though that one of the biggest influences on my decision is the cost factor...like if i take it now would I see enough benefits to take it while cutting, because if they will be minimal i would rather start on the bulk

Btw I know the benefits of creatine and everything, I just personally havent ever taken it on a cut, so dont know what kind of effect it will have

as stated above, take it...

cost factor? 20$ for a big bottle at gnc...

if you ment cost effective of course it is cost effective creatine has been proven over and over to build muscle mass and increase strength. even during a cut it will help and is absolutely worth the buck

actually its a great way to help any muscle growth while on a cut, so its a good idea to use it then as well as during a bulk... either way creatine can be used during any diet, i know many guys that will not use it while they are using a PH supplement and then start up with the creatine once the cycle is over to help keep any muscle gains made during the cycle.. only thing that you may want to not use it for during a cut is if your going to compete since it will add the extra water retention into your muscles,, i have not done a competition diet but this is what i have heard..

I have been using creatine on and off for over the last year and during that year I have lost just around 70 pounds of body fat, creatine is definitely a staple in anyone's supplement "stack".

But i think i will prolly just finish out march dieting, start next week taking creatine for my last month of the cut as well, then start my bulk in april, and maybe add some beta alanine in when i start the bulk
