Muscletech...?

This might start a ***t-storm, but why do so many people swear by Muscletech products? Yes they have been around for awhile now and yes early in their development they had some solid products, but so did MET-Rx before Bill Phillips went the body for life route. Anyway, most Muscletech supps are extremely over priced and for a cycle of them you spend about the same as you would on real gear. Only your results will be quite a bit different. And the fact that GNC gets all new Muscletech products execlusively for a few months furthers my point in saying Overpriced, Underdosed, and Ineffective!

It's all in advertising. If you're good you can sell snow to an eskimo! People buy into all the hype they put out about their self.

As gringo said it's all advertising man, people buy into this sh*t.. spend countless dollars on the most expensive stuff out there, assuming because its pricy it must be the best. Wrong.

I know I've seen a few of my friends investing on MT products before and going pretty much broke in 2 or 3 months, then wondering why they didn't blow up like Jay Cutler.

yup right on gringo,, its what sells the product, glam it up and make a bunch of bogus claims and ship it to GNC,, hey its just gotta work cuz the label says so.... crock of crap!!

amino's
creatine mono
multi
and lots of food and rest is all that is really needed with a few others that may help.I don't even look at magazines anymore because there 90% advertising its sickening.

the thing i love about their advertising is they show some of the hugest dudes that got that way from gear and act like it was the product theyre selling that made them big... haha

It's all advertising. fat and out of shape people will buy anything that promises to make them look like greek gods without the hard work and diet. everyone looks for the easy way out and these supplement companies are capitalizing on it with there products that are 98% rice flower

these guys in this forum will not steer you wrong, i used to buy from gnc, and the sales man swore muscletech was the best out there, then i find out they get the most mark up on the price from muscletech, dude do yourself a favor
stay out of gnc,and listen to these guys you wont be sorry.

no disrespect deleo but the gnc in bellevile nj where i used to go claim that if you take a weight gainer youl lose weight cause it boost your metablisum, thats just one of thier theroy's, or the best was when they tried to sell my freind celltech, after he told the guy he was diabetic....

HAHAHA just what the diabetic needs, 40 spoonfuls of sugar per serving! Such educated people at GNC! I have 3 degrees in the health field and it amazes me when I walk into a GNC and the 120lb high school kid starts telling me what I need..I like to play dumb just to see what they say

ya i over heard one of the gnc sales rep talking to a guy about muscletech she told him it was anabolic. he was like "what does anabolic mean?" and she said "it makes you grow muscles fast" ...... pretty funny but the best part is the dude bought the stuff ha ha

MuscleTech products are crap. They come out with these so called breakthrough products every few months and claim that it is the newest, best, and most anabolic thing on the market. While their products are pretty much ****, I will tip my hat off to them for getting so many people to buy their stuff. Their very good at marketing their products using the best bodybuilders out there.
GNC and Vitamin Shoppe are not bad stores, it's just that supplements are so much cheaper on the internet.
