Through out the last couple years ive been preached to how important protein is. Its the building block of muscle, it repairs your muscle, blah blah blah. I recently bought a bucket of Iso Xp, this have 50g whey protein per scoop and low carbs. I got half way through the bucket and just cant stand it anymore, it causes severe heartburn for me, and 5 minutes after ingestion I burp/throw some of it up. I tried letting the foam go down and everything, it still comes up.
So about a month ago I stopped taking it all together. the only protein ive been getting is from my diet, no protein supplement. And to be honest ive been still getting just as much gains and recovering just fine as when i did take it.(probably because of the
cellmass).
So my question is, Is it really necessary?
