Okay, so having finished my 3kg tub of MAX's GTE PROTEIN (not that great ), and having no money, I've had to substitute Egg-White for a pre/post workout protein hit.

My question is:

By taking 2 Egg Whites BEFORE and 3 Egg Whites POST TRAINING, am I getting a sufficient amount of protein for a pre/post workout intake?

no, the average large egg white is only about 4 grams of protein, so your only getting 12 grams post and 8g`s pre workout
and eggs are a slower digesting protein where as whey would benefit you better being a faster absorbing source post workout

These eggs have 15gm of protein EACH (they're Extra-large Cage Eggs).

Now, as I understood it, please correct me if I'm wrong, it's the Egg-White that contains most of the protein correct?

But basically you're saying I should find a faster absorbing protein for post-workout?

EDIT: I've heard differing stories from "The yolk has no protein" to "its about a 2:3 ratio".

how does one egg have 15 grams of protein, even 1 extra large whole egg white is 7 grams of protein, where are you getting a 15g egg white from? its not possible coming from 1 single egg white, extra large or not, and yes the egg whites are all protein..
and yes a faster absorbing protein source post workout is best to get the protein into the system as fast as possible.
a link for your info about whites and yolks

10 grams is still pretty high for 1 whole egg, but if its what the package says, also there is protein in a egg yolk, not as high as the whites tho, here is a link that has some info on eggs
