GABA is an inhibitor neurotransmitter. Being a Nutrition, Fitness, and Health Major / Dietetics, I do not see how supplementing this can "break the blood brain barrier" and even if it did, this would not be a good idea since the brain needs its own environment maintained for its needs.
Team Orbit has mentioned that GABA gave him better night sleeps which is what I would do, and sleeping is when you body spikes its growth hormone release generally around 8 hours so maybe it helps with growth hormone release by opperating this way. Granted, I would suggest saving your money for other supplements and most importantly a diet and make sure you get a good square eight solid hours of sleep for optimal growth hormone release. |
