A word of advice regarding oatmeal. Throw some Carbo Hit, or whatever carb product your using, in there with your oatmeal while your fixing it to boost up your carb intake really easily. That oatmeal sucks those carbs right up. Cant even taste it or feel any grittyness at all.

It's a complete source of complex carbs.

not to mention I think oatmeal tastes great, especially with protein powder mixed in (whatever your favorite flavor is). I love the texture and it's so filling and satisfying. Nope can't think of any negatives about oatmeal

also because it is the #1 slowest digesting carb on the planet thus giving you more energy longer. But try to stay away from those easy quicky packets with surar/flavors, just by rolled oats and as they said mix in some protein and it will taste like a treat you can't defeat, lol.

I like to mix the chocolate flavour protein in my oatmeal. It feels like you are eating one of those crap totally bad for you cereals and you are cheating...but you're NOT!
Sweet!
