Yo guys, so as we all know, if you do the same ol routine in the gym for a long time, your body addapts to it and you dont get much from your workouts. Now does this hold true with supps? AKA using the same protien day in and day out? Nitric Oxide ( i dont use it anymore, just curious). But yea has anyone ever thought about this before. I mean is taking supps sorta like food? Your body always needs it, and doesnt addapt to it?

Your body will attempt to adapt to anything you throw at it, food, training, sleep cycles. Depending on your genetics, you will adapt to these very quickly and easily or very slowly and with great difficulty.

Any excess protein in your system will either be excreted, stored or used for energy. The more and longer you have a higher-than-need protein diet, the more efficient you will become at burning it for fuel.

Caffeine another example. How many people now need 2-4 cups of coffee minimum a day to function? It's because they have adapted to the caffeine levels.

I would guess it holds true for anything apart from hormones/pro-hormones. I don't think your body can adapt to this but I may be wrong.

a GNC rep once told me to switch up the kind of protein because your body adapts to it and it becomes less effective....ive heard the same for NO products as well

i donno if that is true what the rep at GNC told u. protein is protein, if it be whey iso or whey concentrate, absorption rate is different but protein is protein.

it is true that your body adapts to NO products, but that doesn't mean to just simple switch to another brand, just means lay off NO for a few weeks and clear the receptors

Your body in without a doubt adapt to N.O. I took Superpump starting at 1 scoop within 2 weeks I wasn't feeling anythign from 3 scoops. N.O. Xplode's better but it does ware down a little.

Yeah exactly, see ive heard to switch protiens too, but I seriously only like and pretty much live by ONs 100%, to me everything else is way over priced and well...just not as good. Ive thought of getting ISS Research whey, but ehh, i just like ON.

^ Yeah stick with ON, ok think of it this way all complete proteins are complete because they have all the essential amino acids some foods have them in varying amounts. I'm not sure adapt would be the right word but your body does need a mix you can't just eat chicken all day everyday. But I don't think there would be any significant difference just vary it the best you can nothing really to worry about.

Im pretty sure your body will recognize protein as protein carbs as carbs and fat as fat it wouldnt make sense for the body to adapt to the food its eating its not what we are programed to do think back to cavemen if their bodies adapted to their diets they would of been screwed.
things such as caffeine however yes i do believe your body adapts to that

Oh i totally agree with that....i just decided to use my dinners as my pre workout meal. Yeah the first couple times i used, no plasmacore, nano vapor, and no explode it worked well...but again after a while i didnt really feel anything. Plus with those you have to take them on an empty stomach and how my schedual works with eatting and such, i just realized that in order to have this stuff work, id have to totally revamp my diet and timeing. Not something i was wanting to do just for a dumb supp that isnt necessary.

^ That stuff's casein and whey right? I guess that's not bad, but PWO 1/4 casein and 3/4 whey. Before bed should be 100% casein so 50/50 isn't perfect for either so I'm not gonna get it I don't think.

I took MRI black powder for three tubs and my body never "adapted" to it. I'm on my second tub of ON's new product Vassive NO and I'm also still not adapt to it. I think it all depends on the person, but you should definately take a break in between NO products.
