Hello all, I'm new to the forum...

I have a couple of questions regarding creatine?

I have used (Armageddon) pre-workout and switched to (Expand nitric-oxide) and have seen massive results... should I be taking this stuff pre and post? ...why is it so important for me to take it post? wouldn't I be better off with a just a good ol' protein shake? ...can someone please fully explain the effects of chronic creatine usage... is it not a health risk???

Armageddon and Expand are not creatine they are nitric oxides but probably have some creatine in them. Which would explain why you need to take them pre workout.

Do not use these products pre and post. Only pre.

Creatine is safe. Make sure you are properly hydrated.

Most pre-workout products only have trace amounts of creatine, usually placed in a propiretary blend. Therefore, we are unsure of exact dose.

You could always pick up some bulk creatine monohydrate powder and simply add a few grams to your post workout shake.

Another question, but a little off topic here...

What would be the best whey protein to get... I was buying those big Cyto Sport tubs at the GNC... is this beneficial for mass gaining or...?

yes.

the weight gain that has been associated with creatine use is often due to the glucose transport used, often dextrose.

you will gain weight from creatine use by the positive effects significantly outweigh the weight gain or mild bloat.

I agree with Allstar on this topic. I would like to add All The Whey protein available at Nutraplanet.

All three companies have a great reputation, great prices, great flavors and most importantly great ingredient profile.
