I'm mainly trying to cut and regain some of my lost strength for now. I wanted to get my bodyfat back down to @ 10 or so before I really start bulking again. I'm currently at @ 15% following a long layoff from working out. I used to train regularly but haven't for a few years due to injuries and other stuff, but the fat seems to be coming off pretty quickly with some hard training/cardio and a pretty clean diet. I'm not too concerned with strength at this point, but the strength gains are still there for now anyway due to not having trained for so long. I guess my main questions would be:
Is glutamine not worth taking at all? I still have a couple bottles of gelcaps left at home. I always heard it was good for anti-catabolic, especially if you're doing cardio early morning on an empty stomach. I do this on the days I don't lift and usually wake up, have some coffee with water and glutamine, then head off for some cardio. Is there a more effective way to do this?
Would it be beneficial to add in creatine now or wait a few months until I've gotten my base back and am ready for some more hard, serious lifting?
Do you think it's ok to keep up with the
hydroxycut for now until I shed some pounds and then cut it out when I start training really heavy, or should I get rid of it now?
Thanks for the advice!
