The offseason is coming up for me so i need some help with a good stack to get bigger, stronger. Heres what i got now Casein in the morning and before bed. Vitamins once a day. Whey after work outs. But i need more than that i was thinking of adding the bsn stack to that NO explode, Cell-mass, and Nitrix. I also wanted to know if taking Cellmass would i still have to get another creatine supplement? And should i take aminos to?

ill just fill in what ALL of the more experienced guys would say..theyve told me at least a thousand times lol..

whey: you have already
creatine mono: youll save a ton of money over the BSN stuff and people say its just as effective
BCAA's (or just L-leucine, preference): youll get some from the whey, but mixing some more of these in throughout the day would help.
good multivitamin: you have already
fish oil: must have for a million different reasons
NO product: that would be the no-explode or the nitrix, and everyone says they arent 'must haves' - that these are a matter of preference and depend upon how well they work for you and whether or not you have extra $ for them..there are a few threads in here from people who have used nitrix, and what ive gotten from them is that its a ton of BS...people seem to like Superpump 250 from Gaspari better than NO-explode also...(ive taken nitrix and think its crap also and i love superpump250 too, but read up for yourself)

hope that helps a bit, good luck bro.

Also it wouldnt be a bad idea to have whey in the morning instead of casein. You want something fast digesting right when you wake up. As far as the fish oil goes there was just a thread about it in the supp or nutrition forum that went over all the benefits. Check it out

Alright i went to the store and got all the stuff i need. I dont have a credit card yet so i couldnt order offline. But i went and got some fish oils, GNC creatine mono powder and some twinlab amino fuel. i also have a bottle of NITRIX 360 tablets so im going to try that to. i have whey and Muscle milk protein witch says it has whey and casein in it so ill be taking that before bed and mornings. Is there anything im missing?

Now with the tiwnlab aminos the directions say to take 4 tablets with every meal and i have 6 meals a day and i know i dont need to be taking that many so what do you guys recommend?

Also the creatine directions say just take once after a workout. But isnt there a loading phase? Could some one help me out on how to take this stuff correctly?

what i was told..

creatine: for the first 4-5 days, take 20g per day..take 5g morning, 5g pre-workout and 10g postworkout (either that or 10g morning and 10g post workout - whatever fits your schedule better, but the earlier suggestion may help with absorption of the extra grams)..after that, take 10g per day (5g in morning or preworkout and 5g postworkout)..

aminos: there have been studies done on taking amino acids in high dosages, so it cant hurt to take a little extra..but, a good time to take those would be in the am, post workout and at night to prevent muscle breakdown during sleep..i have powder and i take 5g at all those times..i tried to look up the amino fuel youre taking to help you out with servings but there are variations (1000, 2000, etc.) so i couldnt get anything exact...i would probably take whatever a serving size is at the times i suggested...

hope that helps.

ive been told to take it all three of those times...i would take whatever one serving size is ( i think you said 4 tabs) at ALL of those times..

in the morning you can take them with your whey shake as others had suggested (with your creatine even)..you can take them with your postworkout whey shake (with your creatine also)..and then at night along with muscle milk which you said was your source of casein..that should cover it..

from what ive heard, you can (optimally) do one of two things:

1. take it with a juice/gatorade (the sugar in those juices will cause an 'insulin spike') which will lead to greater absorption of the creatine and/or aminos you take.

2. take it in the whey but mix in 70-80g of dextrose if you can get your hands on some dextrose sugar in powder form (really cheap but may be pain in the ass to find, look around)...if you cant do this, you may want to eat something like a couple pieces of white bread to cause that insulin spike also..other foods with a similar glycemic index will work also (check a GI chart - i dont have too much info on this)..

and yes, muscle milk would be fine in the morning bc it would give your body some whey which would absorb quickly after sleep to get something into your system and also some casein which cant hurt to have helping you along through the first half of your day or so..

on off days, you can still split it and take it at two times (morning and middle of day) or just take all 10g in the morning as absorption would probably be best then.

Kre-Alkalyn does NOT convert in to creatinine.

AllStar- Where are you gettin this info from?

From all of the articles/studies I've read and from talking with Jeff Golini (scientist who invented Kre-Alkalyn) your wrong bro.

Kre-Alkalyn.net has all of the studies showing it being a pH Balanced creatine.

good multivitamin: you have already
fish oil: must have for a million different reasons
NO product: that would be the no-explode or the nitrix, and everyone says they arent 'must haves' - that these are a matter of preference and depend upon how well they work for you and whether or not you have extra $ for them..there are a few threads in here from people who have used nitrix, and what ive gotten from them is that its a ton of BS...people seem to like Superpump 250 from Gaspari better than NO-explode also...(ive taken nitrix and think its crap also and i love superpump250 too, but read up for yourself)

hope that helps a bit, good luck bro.
x whatever on this!
