If you didn't read my intro post, hi I'm Ben. I am new to this forum / bodybuilding.

I have been taking L-Glutamine latley per a recommendation from a friend. I can't however find much praise for it on the internet.

In your opinion's, is L-Glutamine worth it? And if no, what are some very basic supps for me to use beside the Amino Acid's / Protein / Creatine / L-Glutamine that i have been using!?

it's not worth it unless it's injected honestly.

Whey protein
Casein (before bed, butyou can get some Syntha-6 and get both whey and casein in the same one and it tastes sooo much better)
Flax/Fish oil
Multi-vit/mineral
Creatine monohydrate

That's the base for any good supp stack that will enhance your results ALONG WITH a good/solid diet.

than there is Nitrix Oxides but def. not needed...i would drop the glutamine, unless given through IV, it has no effects on the muscle..its not completely pointless as it helps with intestinal/digestion.

Thanks guys, if that is the case I am going to finish what i have and then drop it. Will help the pocket too!

What about the Amino Complex? The Complex i use has BCAA - Luecine, Isoleucine and Valine.

That good enough?

L Glut rocks.. I never get sick while i'm on it.. its a super boost to your immune system.. and it helps with intestnal function as well as protien synthasis.. I take it right before bed everynight. I swear by the stuff..

I gotta agree with darnstrong on this one ^^...I have been reading a lot of articels lately saying that is useless to muscle tissue and is a waste but I know every time I am taking it I get better results. My muscle recovery time is much quicker. So honeslty I have no idea who is right on this one. If you arent' noticing results with it then drop it but if you like it, stick with it.

Only been taking it for a few weeks, have been recording my results. I think i will not take it next month and see if i get close to the same results.
