GF-X 8 or however u spell it should be good for putting on weight since it's got some decent calories in a scoop. I took it, it tasted good too.

ive always been a big fan of Optimum nutrition 100%whey and their casein protein. they are among the lowest in calories and carbs and give you very high quality protein that mixes really easy and doesnt taste bad either. cant beat the quality of there products.

ON is a favourite of mine. Haven't had better quality or taste, even at higher prices. Haven't had their casein as yet, but it did win an award and was the highest seller on BB.com.

Something from the production end; expect protein prices to rise significantly or expect quality to become dubious. Milk production in Aust and New Zealand (where most of the supplement companies get their whey and casein) is down so there is less available for higher end stuff.

protein prices are going up considerably. last year at this time on the optimum website a $10 bag of whey was roughly $85 and now its in the $120-130 range. but even at that you can find it way cheaper than retail if you shop around online. right now i pay $68 for a 10lb bag of whey from ON and the site i shop from gives free shipping on all orders over $50

On paper not bad at all. How long does it take you to receive shipments, given I think you are in the same state.

There are always customer service issues but there seems to be a trend with them, and expired products. Just info I have read online, nothing that Im stating or facts I can verify. As with any company just make sure you know there policys and keep receipts.

ON whey, of course real food's better. Casein is a bad supplement just eat ff cottage cheese before bed, much cheaper and just as effective.

Just wondering why you think Casein is a bad supplement? Cost effective, depends. At least not where I shop. usually half a container (normal size) contain 30 g of Protein. 1 scoop of casein contains 24g. Just from what I have seen. Maybe costco or sams may have a better deal on cottage cheese

If i get my order in before noon its almost always on my porch next day. customer service is generally good but can sometimes be rough. i dont think ive ever gotten an expired product from them but i do know that they sell expired products in their closeout section on the site.

There's a thread by Freak where he talks about it. But I just think that I don't need to spent supplement money out of my own pocket when mom'll just buy a few tubs of cottage cheese a month haha. Plus I think it is cheaper depending on how much you use.

Well if your looking for casein for pre bed time protein, why not just use your whey with some healthy fats in it/mixed and it will slow the digestion rate

Whey protein and Casein, eat more calories then you consume. Thats how you get more weight.
