I usually take mine pre-workout. That seems to work the best for me. I used to take it post-workout and it just doesnt seem to work as well. If I take it pre I tend to have more energy while i'm in the gym. Taking it post just tends to make me sleepy and it doesnt do much on my strength gains. But, then again, you also gotta think about all the other supplements I take to recover with. I really dont need anything else for a post-workout supplement. I already take around 5g of glutamine post-workout.

Creatine will not give you energy, nor will it make you feel sleepy.

If you need help with energy for training, then supplement with caffiene tablets. Drinking cell tech pre workout is spiking your insulin with all the useless sugars contained. Not to mention the price is ridiculous.

Yup, probably for 2 reasons.
1) A big carbohydrate meal will cause a rise in insulin, which will temporarily promote hypoglycemia.

2) Carbohydrates promote the release of serotonin, which is associated with fatigue, by allowing more tryptophan to cross the blood brain barrier.
