was reading up on what kind of vitamins to take and needless to say my research was pretty much inconclusive...is a vitamin like animalpak/megamen's vitamin any better/worse than taking a general multivitamin like a Centrum or something of that nature? Thanks in advance to anyone who can drop something here for me.

Animal Pak is Ok just more expensive tan other that will do just as well. For example my favorits are Optimen From Optimum Nutrition and Multipro by AST

What more important is how fast it disolves. Most current vitamins are ok now but a while back there were a lot ofvitamins that took over 45-60 min to dissolve.

Go to longs or costco and buy bulk. Get a general multi vitamin, some fish oil, vit c, etc... animal is over priced.

actually there are huge differences in a good multi like aminal pack, mega men, iss vit apck and your centrum.... thats why they cost alot more.... a centrum vitamin is designed to aid a normal persons diet to prevent disease.... now you are train hard in the gym and want gain in health im guessing... what high end vitamins do that groceery store vitamins do not is provide amounts to increase ones health promote growth and maintannce of tissues.... the offer herbs such as gensing, saw palmetto, hawthorne, kelp.... ans so forth wich aid the body in energy, prostate health proper water and ph balance above and beyond your centrum... not to mention they give dosages far higher than you centrum.... your grocery store give low dose vit and minerals to sustain health your get higher amount is high end vitamins to aid in increasing the bodies ability to cope with the stresses you put it through... now a centrum is better than nothing but there are huge differences... as well alot of vitamins do not break down properly , do not have proper time release and many resist digestion and get passed through.... to test a vitamins ability to digest adn absorb place it in a tray of vinager if you tablet does not break down throughout the day that vitamin is good as garbage...

You want to find something that has digestive enzymes in it as well. They will hlep the pills break down and absorb better. Animal Pak can be overpriced... It just depends on where you get it.

I switched from taking the mega man sport to taking animal pak. I think the GNC brand was 40 bucks for a 30 day supply and the animal pack was 18 bucks for 45 day supply. Other than having to choke down twice the amont of pills per pack I couldnt tell any difference in the gym or how I felt. Get with Orbit Nutrition and they will hook you up with what ever you need. Great customer service!!!
