Im thinking about making my own pre-workout suppliments. What are some good things to add in it? I was thinking
Tyrosine
Beta-Alanine
Arginine
BCAA
Creatine
Caffeine
Citrulline Malate

What are your takes on that?

Ditch the caffeine, it's a stimulant and you can become tolerant. Use food.

Tyrosine - If you have the money to spare, but not sure if itll have that great an effect.
Beta-Alanine - Yup!
Arginine - No imo, Im not a fan of arginine, the effects arnt that great for me and if you have too much it can damage the pancreas
BCAA - Yup!
Creatine - Yup
Caffeine - No for the reason km stated, plus you shouldnt need caffeine imo
Citrulline Malate - It hasnt got much scientific evidence supporting it yet and is pretty expensive however this is a supp I believe will become big in a few years once a few tests have been done. The option is up to you! If you can afford it I say go for it.

What are your takes on that?

I've fiddled around w/ several mixtures- BCAA + NO, NO + beta alanine, whey + oats, whey + coffee & chocolate milk powder, etc. to be honest, I don't see much difference b/t them. and yet, I keep searching for new crap to try :)

fwiw, by the time you buy your bulk supplies, you may be in the same ballpark as a well-reviewed supp like MAN's Body Octane. just a thought.

i take glutamine, bcaa, arginine, and eat half a banana and half an apple before i workout...always had plenty of power and energy, caffeine is no good in my opinion...

That's cool bro. I'm probably along the same lines. I always disliked soda's and caffeinated beverages so I usually never have caffeine. I'm extremely intolerant, 4 or so sips of RedBull and I'm a zeast.
