Its a slow digesting protein most people take it before bed to have protein in their systen through out the night and wake up a little less hungry.
I personally dont do that
its cheaper to eat cottage cheese a little while before bed

Yeah before bed is when most people use it. You can take it any time but it tends to be quite a thick mix and difficult to just down like a whey protien.

the scanario is that. I have switched to a new location and it is not possible for me to take meal after every 3-4 hours. Like for one month my office timing are 9:00 - 4:00, so for one month i am unable to eat after 3-4 hours due to some office problems

SO in this condition can i use Casein Protein? is it useful. My main problem is i cant take more diet in my office timing for one month

well if you cant eat youre just **** out of luck.
I might time to eat no matter what.If job dont like it they can go to hell.
But it might would be worth it for you to drink a caisien shake so it will digest slowly and you will fill more full and have protein in your body a little longer

15 g in half a cup of cottage cheese, if I recall correctly. So takes 2.5 cups of cottage cheese.

I dont see why. Take some water and drop a scoop of casein in it. Let it sit for a bout a minute and 2 and then try and swirl the cup. Total sludge.

Yeah the cottage cheese can actually get more expensive unless you have a super low price. To even get close to what a serving of casien protein is, its alomst half of a small container.

i just hate how taking casien before bed is one of the VERY first thing a beginner will hear when learning about how to bodybuild. IMO, it's not that important.

i've NEVER had casien before bed except for the occasional syntha 6 which only has a little bit in it.

Not trying to argue but it is important to consume Portein before bed considering sleep will consist of 6-8 hours. I mean if you want to do it right and eat every 3-4 hours. Will you lose muscle if this is not practiced, maybe not but if it can help then why not. Its proven that Casein is a slow digesting protein, whay not take a slow digesting protein before bed thats going to do nothing but serve as fuel. Just my opinion.

I use to think Casein was gods gift as a pre bed supp. But now I think it's the biggest waste of money.

Whey = 2-3 hours absorption
Casein = 5-7 hours absorption
Whey with good fats = 4-5 hours absorption, by the time you wake up, you have a good time window to get another meal in you

Whey+Milk+Flaxseed or some Almond nuts works just as good as Casein would

My friend Absorption time is a lot quicker than that.

Whey= 30min - 1hr
Casein= 2-3 hr

Again lets remember, Casein is cheap, a lot cheaper than whey protein. And if its abolutley necessary to consume both products than Milk byitself would be good since it has both Whey and Casein.
