I am pretty new to weight lifting, but am determined and work hard at it. A friend of mine gave me a tub of Ultimate Nutrition Horsepower. It says on it that it is a NO sup but it has many types of creatine in it. Is it safe to take a creatine with at the same time as taking this product?

sure
just know how many grams you're taking in a day and don't take more than you're supposed to.

Yes it is OK. From what I hear that product is pretty good. I think it just mixes really bad.

That is prbly why the friend gave it to him. Nothing is worse than clumps of any kind in a shake.

Yep. Chances are the amount of creatine actually used in it, without the sugar-coating "formulas" is very insignificant to increase/boost any form of phosphagen production at all. It's simply an additive manufacturers use to lure in consumer's and make money...as they should.

Take creatine mono with it. Aside from Size On and Cell Mass, I think formulas are bogus. 5-10g/day. Loading optional.

I agree. Some shakes even harden and turn into these little pellets in the shake, weird right. It happened with my NOW Pro Gainer...cheap ****.

Usually the cheaper the product and the less reputable > the less quality.

In physics,
Power = Work / Time

Substitution dictates:
Knowledge = Work / Money

Solve for Money which = Success:
Money = Success = Work / Knowledge

Thus, success is determined by the amount of work you put in so long as you maintain a certain level of knowledge :)

you've learned a great deal about creatine in the little time that you've been reading about it. bravo

about the cheap supps, i learned the hardway myself.

one time i bought this cheap NO product from vitamin shoppe. 20 bucks. not bad. i open it and it's literally 30% filled. i was spitting mad for about 2 hours.

not only that but it was the worse!
