is it okay for me to take a fat burner?

What does it say on the bottle? Probably 18 so I'd wait. Losing fat doesn't just come in a pill it's just like chris said, diet and cardio with a good training routine.

diet and cardio first, i had to drill this into my mother head since she eats like **** and expects to loose alot of weight. lol.

do more cardio and you will be good bro, oh and be patient it will come.

Well sounds like your getting enough cardio so that means you diet is bad. Dial that in. IMO you dont need a fat burner at this point.

I dont mean this offensively in anyway but dont look for short cuts burning fat and building muscle takes time solid diet and commitment to your workouts its been stated in other threads but its a common mistake younger people make by relying too much on their supps
