hi guys, i'm thinking in restarting to take supplements, and i was looking something that gets me bulked but without gaining to much fat, i was thinking in getting superpump 250 by gaspari and true mass by bsn, and some amino acids.

this besides all my daily food and training. i would like to know your opinions. Thanks in advance

Yeah true-mass worked really well for me last summer. The only problem is that there is only 18 servings per container. If you're looking to get more for your money try serious mass by optimum nutrition.

Whats your diet like. Dont want to take a gainer if you dont need it or else you will put on some extra fat.

The gainer will only work as an addition to your diet. Only wait it will benefit, not a replacement. Trust me. Serious Mass is for sure where it's at. Have that.

^ Yeah, but still if I buy something it needs to last the whole month. They should put the same amount of stuff into less grams so you don't have to pay 60 bucks for a half month supply. And people say MuscleTech's a rip off.

yeah i don't really use gainers as a meal replacement. well, sometimes. i like to drink if after a big meal. true mass will not leave you too bloated which is why you can take it with meals. with other gainers, it's just impossible to do that unless you have a HUUUUGE stomach.

i agree with what you said about serious mass from a nutritional standpoint. however, like this kid said, the serving sizes are just rediculously huge man. it's really hard to down an entire serving. it don't taste too good either.

and yes, it has a muthertruckin' crap load of carbohydrates. IMHO, it's a bit much.

so true mass 5.75lbs has 18 servings and 12lbs of serious mass has 16 servings.

so serious mass has a lot more cals and ****load of carbs...protein just about equal to each serving. but if you take two servings of true mass it would have more protein and about the same amount of calories then again it would cut half the serving per body.

wouldnt serious mass be a better buy? im trying to gain some weight...i know food is better but sometimes its hard for me to during work.

should i get one of these and whey protein? should i take casein also?

damn thats a lot of protein shakes....someone help me.

sorry if i jack your thread...i figure its the same discussion

thanks

Take some whey protein in the morning . Casein right before bed. Use the serious mass or whatever you chose to get right after your workout. YOu could have the gainer in the morning if it's whey because that's fast digesting which you want in the morning. That why you wouldn't have to buy the other whey too.

so i guess true mass or serious mass is whey?
if you said i can take TM or SM after workout i figure its whey?

Is TM/SM fast digesting?

no whey in the morning, get a food for your morning protein source, take whey post workout, and you could take serious mass either post workout also, or sometime during th day

Why wouldn't whey in the morning be good, some fast digesting protein. I also eat eat with mine too, that's prolly a better thing to do.

because breakfeast is the most important meal. of all meals thats the one you need to have a solid protein and carb intake from Food. Like you said Whey is fast digesting and within a hour or two then what. Your depleated.

Then you eat another meal in the next hour and a half. You're depleted over night and your metabolism peeks. I think as a first meal immediately upon awaking you take in your fast digesting protein (whey, isolate, etc) to disallow protein breakdown or allow the body to break down other substances (amino's, glycerol (fats, etc)) for enery. And some simple carbs (some fruit or even fuctose:glucose) to restore glycogen.

Just my take on it, ya know I completely see your point. It's a ****ing pain in the ass but I guess we all have our ways.

Sometimes my meals in the morning are heavy, some are just whey and 2 cups oats with fruit.

Different stroke I'm feeln you bro.

Knowledge = Work / Money

Solve for Money which = Success:
Money = Success = Work / Knowledge

Thus, success is determined by the amount of work you put in so long as you maintain a certain level of knowledge :)
