hey everyone, I have been using
muscle milk light as a supp and on the reg muscle milk it is advised that you drink it before bed because your body goes into a catabolic state. I go to the gym after work which is later and I eat dinner which is already high in protein after the gym. So, my question is do I still need to drink the shake post workout or can I just drink it like a hour prior to lifting to support the muscles? I'm trying to cut and I know your metabolism goes down when sleeping so I dont want to convert any of that shake to fat? Any help would be appreciated and if this question has already been answered point me in the right direction please.
