Im looking to gain mass and am currently using Size-On (creatine supplement) and True-Mass (protein). Does this seem like a good combination? Also I'm 5'9 and weight about 190 pounds how many calories and grams of protein do you think i should be taking in a day? Thanks bros

Size on is a great product and so is true mass. But what are your stats. What other supplemets are you using. These are great supplements but to build size and mass you have to have a solid diet in check. The supplements will come after. Whats your diet like?

I dont exactly keep strict tabs on my diet but i try to eat about 4 meals a day. For breakfast I usually tend to eat sandwhiches like ham or tuna with yogurt along with a true mass milkshake. Before I go to the gym ill eat another sandwhich containing some kind of meat or tuna. Ill then drink size on through out my work out. After my workout ill have another true mass shake along with dinner. My dinner is usually pretty healthy containing some sort of meat, carb, and vegetables along with milk. I also usually tend to eat before i go to bed. Here I'll usually have crackers with cottage cheese, yogurt, and maybe some leftovers from dinner. I figure I'm easily taking in about 150 grams of protein. Anything else I should be keeping tabs on???

Well Im concerned about the quantity of True Mass your taking in. Its a gainer so at that the most I would reccomend is 2 tops. You need to supplement more with food, and if it difficult to do so then swithch to whey and use True Mass mabey only 1-2 times a day. Its easy to gain mass but difficult to gain quality mass. Also I would increase your protein in the morning and try to switch to eggs. its unbelivable how easy it is to make eggs, just throw some in some water and boil as you get ready in the morning.

I don't understand. It appears like everyone always says if your not going to eat stay out of the gym. I thought substituting a gainer into my diet for food would be a good idea. Whats the difference between getting calories and protein through a shake compared to food? haha sorry for all the questions im a just getting into this stuff.

food is always going to be better than a supplement, supplements are made to supplement your diet, they arent substitutes unless needed.

Not a problem man, thats what were here for. Yes you definetly need to bee eating tons ecspecialy if your trying to bulk up but IMO to rely on mostly powder as your main source of calories which you are at 3-4 shakes a day thats an estimated 1800-2100 calories. Not healthy to me. The nutrients you get from food will be a lot more benificial. Supplements are just that, they supplement to help you achieve your goal. For example once you get to 2500 calories you have to really try and plan to get to 3000-3500 meaning that your meals will most likley need to be high protein, carb packed. And we all know if your eating clean its sometimes tough to reach those number on a busy scheduale that where the gainer can help. Lets say your goal is 3000 calories and your at 2500 wit 250 g protein that gainer will help you achieve your goal of 3000 and 300 g of protein. right now your eating 4 meals throw in another meal so 5 meals and that should be an opportunity to add another 5-600 calories. The main thing Im trying to say is Plan on food first and supplements second. Pm me if you need anything bro. Id be happy to help you out the best I can.

supplements shud never replace whole foods, supplements are supposed to supplement a good constructed diet.

More red meat please, and a few potatoes. Just like everyone said bro, you gotta get the majority of calories from whole foods. I am currently eating seven meals a day plus a few protien shakes and sometimes a gainer shake before bed if I dont have time for a meal, and I still have to work oh so hard to pack it on. Supplements come second to food always but make sure your taking a good multi and some kind of protien powder or amino acids. Remember in order to gain wieght you need to take in more calories than you are burning which should be a lot... good luck
