^this is true. I used to think that the Zinc proportions in
ZMA would promote more absorption in comparison with a multivit. However, any multivit with more than 11mg of zinc (recommended daily) would fulfill this. Most decent ones have 11+mg of zinc.
The only difference I would see is that if you are taking ZMA at night, the zinc will be right before bedtime. Most people don't take there multivit right before bedtime.
