Dextrose helps because it's a fast acting strong insulin spiking carbohydrate. And right after you workout, your glycogen stores are depleted and you need to replenish them asap to prevent catabolic activities.

Anyways, I thought NO Xplode was mostly caffeine/taurine. So like drinking a redbull with the other NO additions to it. And that caffeine is a vasoconstricter for the muscles, but a dilator for the brain. I could be off the mark here, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The NO dialatory effects will overpower the vaso-constricting effects of caffiene as long as the caffiene dosage is below 400mg. Each scoop of N.O.-Xplode contains 100mg of caffiene. From personal experience I am always at my most vascular when I'm on N.O.-Xplode.

Not trying to start an argument cause I really don't care enough too. I've read a few articles with studies showing how AKG helps release insulin and insulin helps with NO2 production and thus ultimately the "pump" and Vasodilation. So in essence, you are spiking your insulin with AKG (different form of arganine) and the AKG itself is not really doing anything besides helping secretion of insulin.
Also, NO Xplode has glycocyamine which is extremely dangerous for health of your heart and is very proven to contribute to heart disease.
Lastly, most of the NO/NO2 supplementation in studies showing it "works" was done with IV NO/NO2 and not oral. Most of the oral NO/NO2/AKG etc stuff you are taking is not bioavailable.

When I supplement I use Metrx Amped, just like NO-xplode. And for post-workout I use powerlab recovery or vitargo CGL by nutrex. They work pretty good and minimize doms to a degree.

^ i couldnt find any link between glycocyamine and heart but there is between glycoyamine and your liver because it depetes your methyl groups which is used to metabolize and detoxify the body of homocysteine and so mabey its the homocysteine thats bad for the heart..? also i always thought caffeine was a vasodilator and i now when i look i can find studys that say its a vasodilator and anougher study which says is a vasoconstrictor......wtf

Maybe it was, I didn't really read hardcore into it, just read it over while eating. I just know it's not something you want to be ingesting.
I'm pretty sure caffeine does both in separate area's. Constricts in muscles and general body, and dilates in brain and nervous systems.
