So I have been drinking a gallon of water a day for almost a year now. I am getting pretty sick and tired of waking up 4 times a night to piss. But read that this amount is needed to break down all the supps and protein you take or else you will end up with some wicked stones to pass. Oh and the whole sleep thing, how am I supposed to get a good nights sleep to grow like a monster if I'm waking up every 3hours. Any suggestions?

That sounds like a bladder problem on your part. You might need to get that checked with a doctor. I usually aim for 2 gallons a day and I never wake up during the middle of the night to urinate.

Don't drink too much water close to bedtime. I don't think there's anything wrong wither ur body - maybe you don't need to be drinkin a gallon if ure pissin it out like that bro. Listen to your freakin body!

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha oh man umm how are you drinking your water are you chuggin it or sipping on it i used to have the same prob but i chugged it and thats why now i sip on my water a little at a time throughout the day and i dont piss as much also do u drink coffee or take any kind of caffein supplement if so that may be the problem also if that doesnt help listen to zack

Dude the problem with sleep is, your body should regulate it all, but you seem to be drinking and drinking, first check your sleep patern and it will help alot if your last meal will be atleast 1h30min before sleep. Right before sleep go pee and drinking an 2dl-3dl water. It works for me it will work for you. Urinating might be a bigger problem by you because you sit alot? While we sit and stand we compress our spine and the fluid in it goes out - bad for spine and we need to pee . Try giving some towel under your back area (while in bed) - area over the ass :P If it isn't laying on the bed while you sleep.
Otherwise if this won't help you are having an overreaction to you'r pills, try having most of them, that arent required to being taken before sleep, over the day. Em, you'r problem could be THIS too, you'r workout is too close to your sleep, last workout MUST be atleast 3-4h before sleep. Try to drink most of the water earlyier in the day. You just need anough to make your urine clear. Too much water can cause health problems as your body salts get diluted. There was a story in the paper recently of someone passing out and having to go to hospital because he drank a gallon of water while working out. Just drink what you need which will vary depending on temperature and how active you are and you physical size.
