What is Nitric Oxide (NO)?

Though you may never have heard of NO, scientific research around the world has demonstrated that NO may influence the functioning of your lungs, liver, kidneys, stomach, and heart. Fortunately NITRIC OXIDE can positively affect virtually all of them.

Some of the most common forms of Cardiovascular Disease are:

High Blood Pressure

NITRIC OXIDE can help dilate the smooth muscle of the blood vessels. With this dilation, the vessels can relax and allow blood to flow easily through them and quite possibly lower the blood pressure.

ATHEROSCLEROSIS

When you are young, the vessels around your heart are flexible. As most people age, the smooth inner walls of the arteries gradually thicken and lose some of their elasticity, at the same time, fatty deposits – or plaque are accumulated on the arterial walls. This is called atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries and when that occurs it can reduce the diameter of the arteries and impair normal blood flow. When the body is manufacturing adequate and even excess NITRIC OXIDE, plaque formation and atherosclerosis are much less likely to occur and may be reversible.

HEART ATTACK

A blood clot in your coronary arteries may be only a fraction of an inch thick, but if it even slightly or completely deprives your heart of oxygen, it chokes off nourishment that the heart cells need and can cause a heart attack. Heart attacks can be triggered by more than blood clots. Excessive plaque in the arteries or a temporary but sudden contraction or spasm of the artery called a vasospasm that impedes blood flow can also cause heart attacks. Deprived of oxygen, a section of the heart tissue will “starve” and start to die. Serious damage can happen very quickly. NITRIC OXIDE can offer protection by acting to lower Blood Pressure and Cholesterol and improve Circulation.

STROKE

Although heart attacks strike the heart, and strokes attack the brain, they have more in common than you might think. Both can be triggered by blood clots, although with strokes, these clots settle in the vessels leading to the brain rather than the heart. When that happens, the clots can interfere with normal blood flow and deprive the brain cells of oxygen. The outcome can be brain damage, disability and even death. The most common sites for these blood clots are the carotoid arteries, which are located on either side of the neck. When normal production of NITRIC OXIDE is impaired within the vessel walls, you are much more susceptible to clotting and strokes.

Two of NITRIC OXIDES critical functions – preventing the formation of blood clots and keeping the arteries free of plaque – work specifically against the occurrence of stroke.

no disrespect but there are so many cardiovascular related deaths because we Americans are obese and do not exercise. The people that would take the no products in the first place have fine cardiovascular health. It just seems like when you include cardiovascular deaths (obese people) you are trying to market to the obese people. take a pill and your heart won't stop because of clogged arteries...yah know. anyways still a good bit of info and again no disrespect.

I know what your saying it is a pretty cool article though. It's all about keeping yourself maintained no pill is going to do the magic trick but for someone that does maintain themselves and has a history of heart related illnesses in their family maybe this could be an extra edge to stay healthy.

I have always talked about this since N O came out annd after reading how it works I thought it could be beneficial in more than just bodybuilding.The article makes complete sense from my standpoint.Although Im no scientist.

I feel that it would be far more beneficial for consumers to purchase N.O. products over all of these prescription drugs that the U.S. government endorses. To my knowledge Nitric Oxide doesn't present any health risks whereas, many of the drugs that are currently marketed and prognosed for cardiovascular disorders come along with an extensive list of harmful side affects; not to mention the crippling prices. So YES to NO.

Diet: Lots of fruits, lots vegetables, and a little bit of lean meat
Daily exercise
Rest, be it physical or mental
Daily recreation, be it physical or mental
Building healthy attitudes of mind

That's all you need to reverse the effects of degenerative disease

I've met guys that are still surfing into their 90s by just following these principles!

maintaining a positive nitrogen balance through foods and exercise is far more superior to your health than a pill. but I still agree that the article is interesting.

I do agree that this is the best route to go. However, don't forget we are dealing with a society of lazy people with rapidly expanding waistlines. The majority of the population simply are not fitness-minded like us. To give them this advice seems like a good idea but realistically these folks will not take it. I mean there are folks who come out of the hospital, from having weight-loss surgery, and head to McDonald's for a biggie-sized schmorgesbord of fat! They refuse to change their lifestyles so their savior is the "majic pill".

I feel that realistically as well as consciously speaking, it would be better for them to purchase an effective and reasonably priced NO product as opposed to a pharmaceutically manufactured drug which poses an abundance of health complications that far outweigh its intended benefits.

Yeah it's pretty hard to forget when just walking out the door every morning reminds me of it. I agree it's sad that most people won't take that kind of advice, but without those principles, an NO pill really won't do jack, that's why they're called supplements. And when you follow those principles, you simply won't need a pill. The best thing we can do as fitness-minded people is continue imparting this knowledge on others and motivate them to want to be healthy. I use my own personal story to help motivate people to have this desire. And there's really no better feeling than seeing someone light up when they believe they can do it too. Just my personal experience. Don't forget that it's because we live in a society where the average daily fat intake is well over 100 grams that we need to have these kind of principles!

It's cool everyone likes to voice their opinion. In my opinion I don't believe healthy exercise and lifestyle is enough anymore. I know a couple people personally and near my town that were in shape did the jogging eating right thing not over weight at all and died in their 40s. I feel just because you do all of the correct things to your body physically the mental aspect of life takes a harsher toll on the body. Many people are very tense and worked up most of the time and that makes your body tight as well. I think using a NO Supplement would help a couple times a week while working out to give the person a different feel on working out. With that different feeling in mind they will have a different feeling about the gym and feel better about themselves and eventually feel better about life in general. When you have a shitty workout doesn't that put you in a crappy mood? When you have 5 shitty workouts in a row doesn't that throw everything off? Take a scoop or two of Noxplode and try lifting again your workout is off the chain. That supplement might have just kept that person in the gym instead of falling off and going out drinking instead. I have seen this many times and kept quite a few people in the gym by doing this.
