So I ordered a bottle of Optimum Nutritions brand new Vassive N.O. Formula X, which is basically their version of BSN's Nitrix. Heres the lowdown on it:

Anyways, I'll get it in about 2 or 3 days and I'll post each day about it as I start taking it and training with it. The only bottle they offer is 180 tabs.
I will be taking 3 tabs in the morning on an empty stomach, 3 tabs about an hour or so before training and 3 tabs in the evening on an empty stomach.

this is more of an all day thing, no explode works 15-20 mins after you take it, its not sustained released and im sure has way smaller particles

So I just took my first dose, and holy crap, I can literally feel the nitric oxide pumping through my veins. I took one serving before my workout, bench pressed 600lbs, high-fived Jesus and went off to invade russia in the winter.

Alright guys, so I am halfway into day 2. It might be a little soon to really report results thus far, but I have only taken 2 doses per day. On the bottle it says 2 doses if under 200lbs. i am 190. I definitely feel a pump after i take it in the morning and later in the afternoon.

New plan - I am going to take 2 servings per day for the next week and after that I am going to bump up my servings to 3 per day because i am pretty close to 200lbs. So we will see how much of a difference that makes.

Ok so its 11:21 in the morning of day 3 and I woke up with a mild pump this morning. pretty cool. although it went away within half an hour i took my 1st dose and so i should get a decent one when i train today. within the first three days i obviously cant expect a huge difference, however, there is a marked difference in the length of time i retain a pump after i work out. i take the 2nd dose before that and i retain a good pump about 2 hours after i workout or more. definitely cool.

Finally, just a thought - im wondering if continually putting arginine into my body throughout the day could be detrimental because it may saturate my receptors and thus make the product less effective. What do you guys think? am i just being paranoid?

Yea that will happen, I usually just either take mine three days on with four off or cycle it week on week off. If your doing it week on week off I would suggest upping the dose for the last few days just to make sure your getting the best from it.

So its 11:02am on tuesday here in good ol' amish pennsylvania. I took Formula X all last week with 2 doses, one in the morning and one before i worked out. I got mild results, nothing amazing. This week I am going to bump it up to 3 doses per day because I am close to 200lbs. We will see if this makes a difference.

Well guys I hate to say it but im at the end of my 2nd week and have approximately zero results thus far. I have half the bottle left so what I am going to do is take one week off of any arginine product whatsoever and then start back again next week with 3 doses each day. I will keep you posted when that happens.
