what should i look for in a casein?

i'm down to about 2 full scoops of my ON casein. I'm looking into getting some more. say i want to try a different brand than ON [the chocolate and vanilla flavors taste bad, imho], what should i look for in the ingredients or nutritional label for a quality casein powder?

i'm not interested in going with cottage cheese.

ok. i just hope ON makes other flavors than just those 2.

off topic: maybe i'm imagining it, but i've been off from noxplode for just 3 days and already my arm veins are a lot smaller. it's pretty scary, i think, that i've shrunk just from those few days.

i hated the vanilla chocolate and
i picked up the banana cream and i love it
thats all i take the whey and casein
in banana cream from on maybe that will help you dude its good

The chocolate's consistency is definitely a little weird. I don't mind it too much, but . . yeah, if there is a better flavor I'd like to try it. I'm skeptical of anything that isn't chocolate.

I once got a variety box of Isopure, and had to finish such winning flavors a "Peanut Butter", "Vanilla Cream" and "Orange Creamcicle" . . I'm surprised I didn't vomit once.

creamcicle doesn't sound too bad, if it was a creatine or n.o. xplode. that's what Endorush Orange tastes like, and it's awesome

idk syntha makes casein.

but if i could save a few bucks that'd be great. so when i get cottage cheese, just look for the one in highest protein and lowest fat and call it good?

Syntha is a mixture of all 3 wheys and a casein complex for a quick yet sustained release protein

You could use their new product NitroCore 24. It includes multiple protein sources(including casein) for sustained release of amino acids(similar to Syntha-6). This eliminates the need to purchase multiple protein products.

However, IMO I think the benefits of using 100% Whey and 100% Casein are evident. While I agree a blend could be beneficial, you aren't getting as much of each kind, and therefore overall it might not be as great. If you've got the money, buy them.
