I've been looking into BCAAs and was deciding how long I could stretch out a container since I'm not made of money. I suddenly thought to see how much BCAAs I was getting just from my whey and casein powders (I couldn't include my soy since the package doesn't give the quantity).

Here are my numbers rounded down to the nearest half.

Morning- Whey- 7g
PreWork- Whey- 4.5g
PostWork- Whey- 7g
Casein- 2.5g
Night- Whey- 2g
Casein- 7.5g
Total- 28g

I am planning on doing a two workout a day plan that will place my total BCAAs from protein powders at 39.5g.

If I get a BCAA powder supplement, how much would I really need to take at those four points considering what I already get? Is it even neccesary to get more? For me this is .20g per lb/ .43 per kg.

If your diet is great and ur already getting all those BCAA's I see no reason to add another supp. Just save ur money or buy more food

I'm taking a BCAA supplement made by Dymatize, only because I'm eating at a caloric deficit atm

you look like you're getting quite enough from food and supplements, I'm only getting about 2.2g in the entire day with supplementing (actually not counting what I get from food)
