My belief is that going without supplements is like going without Water/Food. Supplements supply us with the nutrients required for living a healthy lifestyle. The Vitamins and Minerals in supplements work together WITH food and water to supply us with the energy we need to take our workouts to full potential. Supplements are not drugs. A prescribed drug is taken when your body and/or mind is no longer capable of functioning normally. Supplements are taken to subtly ASSIST the mind and body to reach beyond normal everyday activities. Supplements will not do you jack if you take them alone with no diet and excercise.

Yes, that is the popular opinion. Too many people think supps like creatine are miracle products, they're just supplements, hence the name.

I remember doing preacher curls at college gym, last week sometime and I had my blender bottle with a whey isolate shake in in, some guy walked by and asked if I "was jucing." WTF, bro, it's a liquid, not a pile of needles. I told him, "no," though. I wouldn't know the first step getting my hands on some 'roids, but I'm not interested in them so...

majority of your daily nutrients are going to (or you want them too) come from food and drink. supplements are to give you that little extra and give you more of a boost to gain the muscle you want. do not rely on supplements to give your body the nurishment it needs!!!
