ffbulldog, where is the pain occuring, when you bend your wrist or when its straight.

When you do hammers, I assume the pain is on top of the wrist ( in line with the thumb) yes / no

if the pain goes from either of you r 2 middle fingers or thumb and down your wrist by your thumb it could be carpel tunnel.I swore mine wasnt because it hurt so f'ing bad but thats what it was.Believe it or not the only thing that finally helped it was a massage therapist i wont go thru the details unless you think that it might be it.

That was one of the reasons I wanted to understand where the pain was first..

hey guys sorry i havent been back in a few days. the pain is localized to the joint on the pinky side of my wrist it hurts most when i turn my hand sideways or apply downward pressure( like the motion used in hammer curls). cris you will understand this next part- it is REALLY painful when i lift a pt on the stretcher( cause my palm is up when the pressure is applied). i hope this info helps. cause this injury is freakin me out I LOVE BB i dont wanna stop due to something like a hurt wrist

I'd go and get someone to check it out. take it easy on the weights so you dont hurt yourself anymoreuntil your doctor or whoever checks it out gives you the all clear
