The last week I bought some mass builder from gnc that had fifty grams of protein per serving, and noticed that I have been thirsty as hell the last few days. It seems that no matter how much water I drink that I can't get enough. Anyone have any input?

Some times water is like calories for some people. You think you may be getting enough but if you keep track throughout the day you may not be consuming that much.

Also maybe in your diet you have alot of extra sodium that could be the cause. Do you feel dehydrated?

I haven't been feeling dehydrated, and I have been watching my sodium intake for the most part. The thing that confuses me is that I have been drinking two gallons a day and pissin clear as what goes in....

The only thing that I could think of is that I have upped my intake of protien and have been lifting on a three day full body rotation in order to get ready for a compition in october.

what i have noticed is that when your drinking a shake and its a bit thicker you tend to want something that is going to quench your thirst and a thick shake doesn't really do that. However, since water doesn't have any kind of taste your also not as likely to feel quenched because sometimes what your body feels and your mind thinks are a little different, so I found with me, because its happened to me, I tried drinking vitamin water, a gatorade, or adding crystal light to my water and it seemed to help the problem, give it a whirl and see what happens, crystal light is probably the best way to go because there are virtually no carbs.
