Serious Mass by ON is a good weight gainer, as well as Cytogainer by Cytosport. Both products taste good, they mix easily, and they are low in sugars. While training hard, eating 6 meals daily, and supplementing the above mentioned weight gainers twice daily I gained 22 lbs in 4 months. I am a hard gainer, this was big for me. Anywho, I hope this helps your search to put some xtra weight on.

As long as you eat alot and taing hard....It doesnt really matter which gainer you take...
I used alot of them...My favorite one? Universal's Great gains chocolate why? only couse it tastes great...I have never used a gainer that gave me "better" rsaults....all the same for me...
A gainer should be cheap mixes easly and tastes ok...That's it..

I tried ON's Serious Mass once and sometimes had difficulties with the mixing because I didnt have a blender, it was thicker than Muscle Juice which is what I settled for but im guessing only because its cheaper doesn't really matter which one though, if you have a good diet you'll be making good gains.

If you're trying to gain weight, you shouldn't primarily run to a weight gainer.

Eat more food; 6-8 times a day = best mass gainer.

agree with KM, if you do decide to use a gainer here is what I do/take:

IDS Smartgainer (strawberry banana): post workout
BSN TrueMass or ON SeriousMass or ON ProComplex Gainer: 2-3x a day

I currently weight 230, down from 250, so I am going to consume a lot more than you, so adjust your servings/calories accordingly. I LOVE the IDS Smartgainer, I look forward to the end of my workout just because I can drink it, its that damn good!

I would say that bsn tru mass is one of da best simply cuz it has such a high calorie density and not to mention taste prettty good!

I have about two servings a day...started using it about 4 months ago. I have used others in the past like muscle juice from ultimate nutrition but i find its hard to stir if u dont have a blender.. anways hold thjis helps peace

A week or two tops. You don't need to take it that much. Once or twice max.

Ok, regardless. Emphasizing your nutritional intake rather than supplementing with a weight gainer would still cause anyone to take a weight gaining supplement once or twice max/day. The extra carbs/calories/protein could potentially store as fat.

I only take 2 scoops of muscle juice per day now, I took 4 scoops in 2006. My diet is by far the best weight gainer I have at the moment, but I do like taking my juice everyday, I dont know how people say its too sweet

Exactly, thank you. No weight gaining supplement will cleanly and healthily add mass/weight, food is the key and answer. Glad you think that way, as I do.

IMO, a 16 year old doesn't need to be taking any kind of testosterone.

BSN True-Mass hands down is the best. It one the 2007 award for the best Weight Gainer. Unlike other lesser mass builders, True Mass contains absolutely no hormones, creatine, stimulants, or aspartame compounds. Rich in BCAA's and other highly essential and non-essential Amino Acids, True Mass contains more than adequate amounts of every amino acid you require to maximize your muscular gains. consists of Ultra-filtrated Whey Protein Concentrate Extremely Rich In Alpha-Lactalbumin, Micellar Alpha And Beta Caseins And Caseinates, Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate full In Whey Isolate Peptide Fractions, Egg Albumen, Calcium Caseinate and Milk Protein Concentrate. Each of these proteins found in True Mass offers a completely unique and complementary profile of amino acids and amino acid absorption rates. Using True Mass in between or alongside meals completely ensures that your muscles never run out of protein building blocks (amino acids) and stop growing.

Best place to buy is at the Vitamin Shoppe, in store or online, you can get coupon codes just by googling, there's hundreds. The last time purchased it was in store for $40 for 5.75 Pounds, normally $50 elsewhere.

If your looking to bulk up with the quickness and your real serious then try RUSSIANBEAR 5000, it's 5000 Calories per serving. and fairly inexpensive. Zero fat is a major plus in this product.

Looks like your friend's going to have a hard time cutting if he's gaining 4 lbs/week. That's 32 lbs in 2 months, which is highly doubtful.

In physics,
Power = Work / Time

Substitution dictates:
Knowledge = Work / Money

Solve for Money which = Success:
Money = Success = Work / Knowledge

Thus, success is determined by the amount of work you put in so long as you maintain a certain level of knowledge :)
