technically, yeah. Anything not in its natural state is (the process is the adding of ingredients, making into dough, baking, etc ). If you look at the ingredient label, youll find ferrous sulfate, vinegar, soy flour, yeast, or a bunch of similar stuff. Try thinking of it this way....its a good choice, but there are better. For oats, you start with wild oats. Then you have that steel cut oatmeal that takes forever to cook. Then you have rolled oats, then instant oats, then the quaker packets, with flavorings. You should try and eat as far up the ladder as you can. Yeah, the quaker packets are better than white bread, but there are better chocies on the same ladder.Hope that helps
