I've actually just read an article about, believe it or not.
And I'm pretty sure M&F is correct on this one. What I got out of the article I read is that
Soy Protein is a significant source of phytoestrogens. The phytoestrogens somewhat act in the same way as Estrogen. The reason I believe it's not true is because men and women regularly produce Estrogen, women just create a greater abundance of it. Some say it helps regulate Estrogen levels as well.
Not sure if this helped. Soy protein is definitely healthy, reducing male illnesses- but I don't think it's necessary right now.
