cheese is fine(burger. pizza, etc.), some ice cream is fine but then there are others that get to me or i can have a little and i am fine and if i over indugle it gets to me. even when i took casien protein at night the next morning it would feel heavey like it did not digest it right, (swtich to egg protein _not as slow i know but atleast it gets me further into the night than just whey)

i would say if anything i am lactose sensative.
Just to experiment, for my sake and more importantly yours, give some lactose free milk a try.

Also, was that casein protein mix lactose free? I assume at least 1-2 products arent.

it was ON's casein, not sure of the lactose ratio. they usually have some digestive enysems as well ( lactase).

is the milk any good. would be nice to have a bowl of cereal every once and awhile and not have to worry about it.?

next time i go for a check up, i am going to look into the situation with the doc, maybe something to aide in the digestion of lactose is all i need

Im not lactose intolerant in the least, so i have no idea to be honest about how it tastes. I doubt its horrible. The other product, although maybe not the best thing for night time, is soy milk. But, rumors and some science says that too much of the phyoestrogens in soy milk can kinda negate some of your testosterone production, and if i remember, testosterone spikes during sleep.
