I got some Probolic-SR. Orange Creme flavor is...well...let's just say it's a "man up" moment. Actually, not as bad as some crap I've tried, but it's no
Nectar. Nectar is awesome. I'll try the Probolic chocolate next time...someone told me it tastes like chocolate cake batter.
So my protein regimen is:
- Nectar in the morning (90 cals, 23g whey)
- A New Whey liquid protein for lunch (100 cals, 25g whey/casein/soy mix)
- Nectar post-workout
- Probolic-SR before bed (130 cals, 20g protein)
So that's 91g, plus another 60-70 from food. It's about 1g per pound of LBM. I think that spreads out the protein throughout the day.
BTW, I love that New Whey liquid protein...it's like taking a shot in terms of speed, tastes good, and is a good protein vs. cals ratio. Only problem is it's about $3 a dose, so I just take it for my lunch at work.
I try to keep my carbs in my breakfast and lunch, and have a banana as a pre-workout snack. It's hard to get enough potassium in one's diet...
