Here's the specs:

its the ratio of diff. types of proteins, carbs and sugars that make this drink a good choice. its better than taking a larger amt of any single type. plus its got 16g of added bcaa's and 23g of ammino acids

2-1-1 Carbohydrate Ratio

2 X Glucose Polymers + Waxy Maize Starch
1 X Sucrose
1 X Fructose

2-1-1 Protein Ratio

2 X Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate (Fast)
1 X Micellar Casein (Slow)
1 X Egg Albumen (Intermediate)

2-1-1 BCAA Ratio

2 X Leucine
1 X Isoleucine
1 X Valine

recovery drinks are joke, unless they contain goats blood. It has to do the particular amino acids, as well as the temperment of the goat. (Valuabl knowlegde I know, dont worry, you're welcome)

^agreed, but hey give him a change to try and prove his point, I had a sample of 2-1-1 recovery and liked it a lot, when I start bulking later on I will probably add it into my arsenal of supps!

I'm purchasing ON BCAAs soon, seems good for recovery. I might even get some Glutamine also. Not sure yet though.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the BCAAs. Have been interested in those for a while. I'm on a 5 day split so I need as much recovery as possible.

even though not many people like it, i really like cell mass. I noticed when i started taking right after my workouts instead of before bed i was never really ever sore the next day. Also it has a good amout of glutamine. and something that i heard it like it increases your red blood cell count. Im not really sure on that last part. correct me if i heard wrong.

the idea of increased redblood cell count is that if you have more red bloodcells you will have more oxygen flowing through your body and transporting more nutrients, essentially cutting down on recovery time because your muscles are getting more nutrients, vitamins, minerals and oxygen to help in recovery, because it floods the muscle with all these thing forcing it to recover.

man you're a douche. what evidence do you have to prove that recovery drinks dont work?! protein is and always has been the commonly known nutrient for repairing broken musclefibers...that is what causes recovery. what is your point here?!

not all recovery drinks are expensive

if your not taking some sort of protein shake (fast digesting) after a workout your dumb, because this is when your body needs the most nutrients and with your body in protein synthesis why not get as much protein and carbs and other amino acids, vitamins and minerals into those muscles and help them recover faster.
