Hi guys, a quick question regarding Omega 3 fish oil...
Fish oil is a fat right? When I take my fish oil tablets (1g) do I need to include these in my fat intake? I take 2tabs in the morning and two at night (total of 4g)

I know these numbers are really small, but it makes sense to me that the fish oil would be counted as fats, but Im really not sure.

Omega 3 is also commonly know as 'omega 3 fatty acids'.

I would include it in your fat intake, not the big of a deal. Numbers are really low anyway. The fat is about 2% of the tablet.

Anyone can help me on this, not that knowledgeable about Fish oil.

update, I rang a pharmasist and he said that I should take 3-4g in the morning and 3-4g at night.
He also said that it was a negligable amount and so shouldn't be included. Apparently fish oil might not have 9cal/gram because it's a 'good fat', also if its only 2% fat in the tablet thats like nothing. Thanks for the response KM, your knowledge is respected!

No problem bro, always here to try and help the best I can.

Yeah, I agree, it's a healthy fat, shouldn't matter too much.
