This is for 2 scoops. You can get better from ON's 100% whey protein, or well practically most protein powders are better. But I'll admit, it tastes REALLY good. hehe. Definitely the best tasting protein shake out there.

If you want to compare taste, IMO Syntha 6 is better.

I can't believe how many people know anything about Nutrition. The FAT IN MUSCLE MILK is not bad!!!! Muscle milk is very good for losing fat and gaining muscle.

MCTs dont work well but they can if you workout enough its a good product but if dont like MT then MM is an ad campain. Tastes good though, but if your building then get Pro NOS.

Yes, the fat isn't that bad in muscle milk. But why fat you want muscle! If you want fat take fish oil or cla or some other type of omega 3 so its good for your heart, your joints, skin, eyes, and brain functions. Plus Muscle Milk is a rip off. You can buy whey and a multi and it would be half as cheap. Or Pro NOS witch is more money but damn does it work amazing. mmmmmmmm

mixed protein, whey and casein. Personally I am a fan of ON and BSN (100% Whey, Casein, procomplex, syntha 6). Like mentioned before depends on what your goals are, if you are cutting, technically you can but when you get low enough its hard to get that shredded look. Personally I don't use it to cut, I am a on fan for all occasions.

Rip off? Then if you really want...you should just go to the store and buy a ton of eggs and eat egg whites all week for Way less than protein. That's the worlds best quality protein.

Whey burns in your system 5 to 10 minutes. Casein takes 2 to 7 hours depending on the person consumming. I know this is Marketing...but the following is directly from the CytoSport (makers of Muscle milk's) site. ...

Leading scientists assessing the true role of fats in increasing lean muscle growth have shown all fats are not created equal. The type of fat determines whether you use it for muscle energy or store it as body fat! The LeanLipids™ used in Muscle Milk® promote fat loss three ways:

* Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), the predigested “fast burning fats,” are more likely burned for muscle energy and heat than stored as fat. 20% of Muscle Milk lipids are MCTs.
* Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are also less likely to be stored as fat. Special enzyme engineering makes these lipids even more functional, promoting anti-inflammatory effects and enhanced mineral retention.
* Recent research reveals calories with engineered lipids taken before and during workouts promote leanness. It is thought that these calories are used for workout energy, with less deposited as fat.

So, while Muscle Milk may contain slightly more fat than low-fat high-carb products, our Lean Lipids™ are designed to help you get leaner.

EvoPro™—Nature’s Ultimate Protein—Amino Blend
Human milk is composed of unique and highly complex proteins, peptides and amino acids, which promote rapid muscle tissue growth. EvoPro™ includes these alpha and beta micellar caseins, alpha-lactalbumin, lactoferrin, L-glutamine and more. Nature created this precise mix to stimulate muscle growth to higher levels, and EvoPro is the ultimate nitrogen delivery source.

Muscle Milk helps grow muscle faster than gainers, whey or even creatine. This increased muscle growth is possible because Muscle Milk is the first product patterned after Nature’s ultimate anabolic food—human mother’s milk. Locked within the composition of human mother’s milk are long-held secrets to muscle growth potential. We took the next step and actually duplicated these important muscle growth factors into Muscle Milk. Muscle Milk helps you grow muscle like never before.

Why would a product that says on the bottle (LOSE FAT...DON"T STORE IT!) have fat in it to make you fat?????????????????????

fancy marketing, it is said though that consuming dairy 2-3times daily (skim-2%) helps in aiding in fat loss, so it is in essence probably the same thing, they are probably using some sort of milk product in their rtd and making it sound fancy so you will buy it. Now I like cytosport, not trying to disuade from buying it, just know they are trying to real you in (like almost all companies) to buy their product.
