Another perfectionist question but here goes:

Right after my juice and creatine shake after my workout, should I hold off on the water, and let the creatine do it's job before I flush it out with water, or should I keep drinking water no matter that I just ingested the creatine and juice?

I do drink a lot of water throughout the day, esp on the workout times, but should I hold off for a half hour or so?

Thanks.

you can drink some water, just don't overdue it and drink too many fluids so your body excretes everything, but if you want a glass of water you should be fine. How much juice are you drinking with your creatine and what kind of juice is it.

The juice is apple juice with a "mango flavor," tastes really unique but not bad. I take the 1 teaspoon of creatine with a small water bottle full of water, shake it up and drink. The water bottle is a little less than 1/2 a liter. How's that sound?

I would lose the juice personally, I never liked the idea of something with lots of sugar and creatine mixing together, with the exception of gatorade or something. If you are just taking the creatine with water, just stick with that and drop the juice.

lol, ok but how do you deal with the taste?!

After taking it, I'd have to wash it down with some water, or maybe chew on a piece of sugarless gum.

try the gum or water idea, for me I trained myself to consume things for function and not for taste.

creatine absorbs better with a little bit of sugar but none of the artificial crap but at the same time you dont need a tone of it. i add a little bit of honey to mine.
