Alright guys, I know I am the guy who always rants and raves about CEE creatine, but I am willing to give mono another try, time has passed and willing to see how it goes this time. So here is what I am looking for, a no flavor mono that doesn't have a loading phase, so please provide your input, Orbit, LBJ? What you guys think, this goes out to all who know about this, since my info on mono is limited.

Honestly bro I used ProLab Mono. If you are a strong believer in CEE you should stick with it. But you can get a good monohydrate from any local shop and it's equally as good.

Preference.

Nutraplanet.com has unflavored mono for 12$/kilo, i believe the common thought is that all creatine should be loaded to saturate the muscles.

true, but at the same time taking it post workout with a protein shake is getting it right into the muscles anyways, so why waste the money loading, as it is I would probably also be taking it with my casein shake before bed.

The loading phase helps saturate the muscle quicker. So in a way it's saving money.

like i said thats just what most people think... i'm not exactly sure on it. I just started using creatine myself this week, after over a year off from it.

btw congratulations on VIP.
Like KM said i think i saw somewhere that taking it at the normal reccomended dose will over time saturate the muscles... but i'm not even entirely sure on the actual whole process.

When you're on the loading phase you're saturating the muscle with Creatine. Then it is used for ATP re-synthesis. The quicker you apply this, the quicker gains will come.

yes we know thats what everyone says... but he wants actual proof of what happens when you take supplmental creatine (i.e. Does it actually take large doses for it to accumulate in the muscles or is excess of the reccomended dose just that excess... and get excreted)

ThirdAge: Creatine

This site seems to be pretty informative... but again it only touches on the loading phase...

to answer your original question THG, I've been using Nature's Best creatine mono and have had good results with it. $20 for 200 servings, not bad at all, and a brand I trust. As far as the loading phase, that's up to you, the bottle says to, but it is not necessary if you are opposed to it. I loaded it and found it to be benficial, but that was my body's reaction to it.

I dont believe its necessary to load. Based on my experience I have had great experience with mono and never loaded. But that my opinion. Wheres Thomas that guy has a black belt in Creatine.

Congratulations TH. Im on VP. You deserve it big time.

Oh yeah make sure you get Micronized Creatine Mono. More refined grain.

Thanks guy! Lots of great info, will take it into consideration. Thanks also for welcoming me to VIP, feels nice to be appreciated! I never loaded in the past and got mediocre results, I will talk to a buddy of mine who has a store and see what he says about loading. Also, does anyone advise me NOT mixing it in with my post workout shake and bedtime shake?

I would go with pre and post workout. On your off days it really doesnt matter what time you take a serving. I usualy do it about lunch time on the weekends.

well i generally would take a NO product pre and a creatine post in order to get it into the muscles faster and efficiently.

As of right now actually I am taking Leviathan 2x a day in the am, and once again 5-6 hours later (sometimes its preworkout, other times not depending on when I goto the gym).
