I personally have used endorush, rockstar, Amp, and spike. And honestly i love all of them. I really like the fact that you can go to sams and buy rockstars in packs of twenty for pretty cheap. The rest are just as good but are more expensive, and well cheaper is better.

Spike pills are also effective.

Endorush a fat incinerator also. Personally, I wouldn't use an energy drink before a workout, especially with legs- i cramp up

i love caffine and effedhra but i try to stay away from things with a lot of sugar. there are a lot of supps out there but rockstars and redbulls are not made to be pre-workout drinks. other then that i like fruitpunch rockstars, those are good.

i only drink energy drinks pre-workout so i like the ones that are made for that. the ones like monster have a ton of sugar in them. i like speed stack. it gives u a kick for those long cardio sessions. i use vassive-no for my lifting days. its got a NO activator in it for a good pump. plus it tastes really good and i've tried them all

Every now and then I will throw in a sugar free red bull, but other than that I try to keep it pretty clean. If energy and intensity is an issue for you in the gym and these solve that for you then that probably outweighs the excess sugar you're consuming

Eat lots of carbs to restore energy levels. More carbs you eat- helps you move heavier weights. The caffeine in the energy drinks act similar to a Nitric Oxide product just without the L-Arginine. Energy drinks aren't a good source of energy.

I guess I was referring to a jolt due to the caffeine and I used the word energy. Sorry about that.

theres a new carb supplement by ON. its called glycomaize. it has a fast and slow digesting carb so u get instant energy and sustained stamina. plus its unflavored so u can mix it with anything and drink it pre, during, or post workout.

I grabbed a case of Endorush a couple months ago and I thought it was great. It gave me a great rush before my workout. If your into a pre workout supplements, I would just recommend taking plain old caffeine pills. They are cheap. you can get them at your local drug store, and they work just as good as all these expensive pre workout drinks.

I personally don't think they are great because most of them have high levels of caffeine and restrict pump due to the smaller size of veins and capularies. Like mentioned before, eat more whole grain type carbs and that will give you sustained energy, as well as some protein (take this 1-1.5 hours before workout if you take a preworkout supp like Vassive NO, Prudence, or whatever your preworkout supp is, take it 30-45 minutes before workout if you don't take anything).
