Speaking from experience with various creatine powders. I personally don't think any sort of loading phase is required when taking creatine monohydrate. The evidence from the research about creatine also suggests that a loading phase may not be necessary. That its mearly just a case of supplement companies trying to get you to use more of there product.
Creatine monohydrate in the powdered form itself is not a very effective product when it comes to getting the most out of your creatine. The creatine the second it hits your stomach acids degrades to creatinne.
The same process happens when added to water, i think the process takes around 9 seconds. So simply adding creatine to your post workout shake wont stop this process (that also includes products like nitrotech, which have creatine already added to the protein supplement). Creatinne is a by product of creatine and thats what gives you the bloating cramps and water retention and is also the reason that you have to cycle the creatine.
Try using a creatine buffered with an alkaline to stop this process and get more effective creatine delivery to your muscles. Try Kre-alklyin, no cramps, no bloating, no water retention, in fact i took 4 tabs on the day of my last show and i was bone dry. Several companies make versions of it i think American fx hold the original patent. I would avoid the other creatines like ethelester and malate, the science behind them just doesn't work you'd be throwing your money away and bodybuilding is an expensive sport
