Will creatine make you overweight (fat) ?

I'm thinking of buying either cellmass to go with my no-xplode or regular monohydrate alpha mega creatine. My fear is to gain size on the belly. What you guys think?

No. You will only retain water which might make you "appear" fat to some people. Don't worry about it. Creatine mono is one of best supplements you can take.

yea i would just buy a good creatine mono and i prefer a micronized creatine mono thats what im taking now, it absorbs a lot better than just regular monohydrate, but yea freak pretty much said it all, since you retain water it might occasionally make you feel or look bloated. but yea its a great supplement.

It will not make you fat unless you dont work out while you take it. Like this fat kid i know he takes anoval and goes in the weight room like once or twice aweek and does bench and curls and leaves hahhah. Hes so lame and he thinks he is going to get big off of it.

As for you Redrom usually when you purchase a creatine product it will say on the bottom or in the package when to take it and how often to take it. Plus depends on what type of creatine you get. Each has its differnt effect on people and also differnt dosages work for people to. So if you looking in to a product check it out online read up on it and it will event tell you there before you but it.

Loading Phase: Day 1 through 5- Take 1 heaping teaspoon 4 to 6 times daily.
Maintenance Phase: Day 6 through 21- Take 1 heaping teaspoon twice daily. Then go off for 3 days, and repeat the cycle.

so theres one example for you.

For you N.O. i got the same stuff here's the loading phase for that.

Once your tolerance has been established, mix 1-3 scoops with 5-18 oz of cold water and consume 30-45 minutes before training. Use approximately 5-6 oz of water per 1 scoop of powder. Again, vary the amount of water to achieve your desired flavor and sweetness level.

Recommended Use On Non-Training Days:
Mix 1 scoop with 5-6 oz cold water and consume on an empty stomach.
(there is no need for this^^^ on off days as i have disccused and asked other peoples opions on it in another thread. Its just a way to go through it quicker.)

Water retention can make you appear fat. That is one of the reasons why some people mistakenly think they should not take it on a cut. They think they "lose definition" when it is just water retention and great for use during a cut.

You get reps they just haven't added up to much because someone neg. repped you for thinking that big black guy was real. Stupid reason imo but that is why.

You have to post more and it changes to middleweight, heavyweight, and I believe super heavyweight. VIP's can change it. He probably isn't saying anything because we hijacked his thread... but did answer his question thankfully.

sorry if I wasn't responding I was training at the same time.
You can rep people on this forum? Tell me how and I will surely apply it to you 2!
I wasn't aware you could do that.
And can I get a clarification. What is "water retention"?
People keep mentioning it and I assume it's because you drink 2x more water than a normal person would normaly drink.
And by the way I got 3 questions for you guys.

1- How do you find out your fat percentage?
2- Could I use a product like No-Shotgun and Creatine together?
3- If I get extra bodyfat could I eventually use Lipo 6?
Newbish questions I know I'm sorry I'm just trying to get the most information possible to prevent stupid moves.
Let me know about the reps!
I'm going to bed right away but I'll be back tomorrow to check out your response and I will rep! Thanks guys! Have a good one!

Alright let me help ya out first off to give rep's it under the persons name you want to give and it is right under where you see the thing called rep power it is the (X) button click on it.

1. If you have a membership to a fitness club go find one of there personal trainers or employees and im sure they would be happy to give you one for free.<--(i do this) or goto the doctor or at your next check up ask.

2.I have read up much on No-shotgun but just by looking at the name it looks like a nitrix oxide. YES take your creatine and N.O it will not harm you. It is just like taking the N.O. explode and the creatine monohydrate. You can event add more to this stack like BCAA's Whey protein, fish oil and many more

3. Now this depends on if you are trying to gain weight and mass or loose weight and tone. If you are trying to loose weight and tone then this would be great but them dont take the whey protein and im not sure about the creatine and cut back on caloric intake 500 less then the normal intake (so i have read correct me if im wrong) The N.O. would still give you puts during you work-out so you could keep taking that.
I was thinking about using this product myself but am curently trying to get to a high body mass and then tone it out.

Hope this helps ya. anymore questions feel free to ask.

Click the "X" under the name. (to the left of the post)

1. Preferably find a bod pod you can use because it's the most accurate: BODPOD

Realistically you will have to get body fat calipers and have someone take it for you and show you how to do it. It will take some practice. You can get them online they don't have t be expensive, Lange is the best though but cost about $200.

2. Yes

3. The goal on a bulk is to monitor your progress/bf and adjust calories as needed to limit fat gain and maximize muscle gain, but yeah on a cut you could use lipo 6.

Do searches too, the bf question has been covered a million times.

Have a good night!

Yes take whey and creatine mono on a cut. Protein needs to be slightly increased on a cut to help retain muscle and due to the different macro percentages.

Protein requirements on a cut vary depending on body-type and kind of on the time requirement (how much bf you have to lose by a certain time period) but it is about 1.2-1.5g/lb on a cut and 1g/lb on a bulk.

On a cut you want to lose 2lbs/wk max, less is better.
